- Albertosaurus- Albertosaurus was one of the widest ranges of any tyrannosaur. Fossils have been reported in Canada, The United States, Mexico, China, and Mongolia. However, the Asian specimens are now classified as Tarbosaurus. It was related to Gorgosaurus
- Dynamosaurus- Dynamosaurus was erected in 1905. However the taxon is now placed to the genus Tyrannosaurus.
- Tyrannosaurus- Tyrannosaurus is one of the most popular dinosaurs. Growing 40 ft, and a weigh between 4 to 18 tons, it was one of the largest theropods. Fossils have been reported in Canada, The United States, and Mexico. Although fossils, and tracks have been claimed in China, Mongolia, Russia, Cameroon, Pakistan, India, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and even Bolivia, they did not belong to the genus.
